Government consultation on solar PV

Government has published a consultation on changes to financial support for solar PV. The full consultation is available here. The consultation document proposes to: close the Renewables Obligation (RO) to new solar PV with capacity above 5 MW from 1 April 2015. Nest Thermostat from B&Q

B&Q appear to be marketing an interesting combined thermostat and programmer that seems to have some good reviews. Have any of you seen this before or know anything about it? In fact it seems there a number of people selling it including John Lewis. And the company NEST is owned by Google. Here’s the link to an article in The Guardian
